Charity

It's great to be able to choose to support a very broad range of charities. But it's often not easy to choose! I certainly can't tell you -- and shouldn't tell you -- which charities to support. All I can do is give you more information about a broad range of charities that I support and hope that you will at least support a charity not necessarily one of the charities that I choose. Below are some of the charities that I support. I believe that giving back is a main part of building a successful business but more importantly a successful self. I hope you take the time to go through some of the links below and always remember to make a difference in your community.

Organ Donor Awareness Foundation

The Organ Donor Awareness Foundation is a nonprofit organization which was founded by a 54 year old heart transplant patient, Neal Bira. The Foundation, along with Neal, is managed by a very special group of concerned and dedicated volunteers. The goal of the Organ Donor Awareness Foundation is to increase organ donor awareness and to provide funds to help the children and families of organ donors so their dreams become a reality. We want to make sure they are not forgotten or left in a state of devastation when their loved one passes; after they were generous and angelic enough to pass life on to another, said Neal Bira, ODAFs founder. The money raised will help provide educational opportunities and necessities for those families and children left under duress as a result of the financial hardship caused by the death of a parent who was an Organ Donor Hero.

Caring House Project Foundation

In 1998, Real Estate investor and 5-time international bestselling author Frank McKinney, with his wife Nilsa founded the Caring House Project Foundation. The foundation's primary objective is to provide housing, food, water, medical support and opportunity for the desperately homeless around the world. Caring House Project Foundation has a long association with Haiti, having built orphanages and self-sustaining villages for many years. Unfortunately, many of these were destroyed during the earthquake. Mr. McKinney marshaled a volunteer search and rescue team immediately after the disaster. While they initially planned to check on the Foundation's buildings and occupants, his team wound up taking on search and rescue wherever needed. Caring House Project Foundation will continue their work in Haiti for years to come.
